In 1996, through the providential power of God, the members at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas called Rev. John R. Adolph as their undershepherd and pastor. After being led by the Holy Spirit, he accepted the call and began his pastorate on
Pastor Adolph has been the proud Pastor of Antioch for the last 13 years.
In his perpetual pursuit to know more about the ministry and serving humanity for the cause of Christ, Pastor Adolph began his studies to pursue a doctorate degree in the ministry. In May 1999, he completed his quest of Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Through his impeccable leadership, perseverance and dedication, the membership of the Church has grown to over 7,000 members and increases every Sunday.
Dr. Adolph, in addition to being Pastor of Antioch, is the President of the Southeast Chapter of One Church One Child, a mentor in the "I Have A Dream" program, an active member of the NAACP, facilitator of the extension program of Interdenominational Theological Center - Morehouse School of Religion, a member of the National Baptist Convention of USA, a member of the Clergy in Schools program, and the Baptist Ministerial Alliance. He also serves as the board President of Jehovah Jireh Village Community Development Center, Inc. Also, he is on the boards of the Metropolitan YMCA Region Y's, Some Other Place and the Southeast Texas Family Health and Resource Services.
But most importantly, Dr. Adolph is a saved and born again believer. He is a Spirit filled, Bible believing and a Resurrection Sharing believer in the Lord Jesus Christ!
