Before You Say I Do Ministry

This ministry is designed and organized to teach engaged couples the Biblical tenants of marriage.  These premarital sessions help to prepare the believers to make a commitment to one another.  It also teaches the 5 basic principles of marriage, but most importantly that God is first and foremost in every marriage.

Christian Counseling Ministry

Licensed and certified counselors provide Christian counseling to those individuals that need help in areas, but not limited to, drugs, alcohol, grief, anger management, parenting skills, communication, etc.  The ministry provides confidential sessions that will strengthen, help and give direction to individuals that are in need of liberation in these areas of their lives.

Culinary Arts Ministry

The main purpose of this ministry is food preparation for many events.  Culinary Arts are responsible for organizing, developing and facilitating kitchen operations of all picnics, funerals, and other events that require the service of food.

Forever Love Wedding Ministry

The wedding ministry provides leadership and guidance to those members that are planning a wedding at AMBC.  The coordinators work closely with couples to make sure that wedding ceremonies are Christ-centered, Biblically-based and spiritually pleasing to the Lord.

Healing Touch Ministry

The Associate Ministers are trained and qualified to provide prayer and support

to the members of Antioch that are sick, homebound or hospitalized.  Also this ministry provides visitation and prayer to those families that are bereaved and makes sure that they are loved, nurtured, touched and cared for.

OCOC Adoption Ministry

AIt takes a whole village to raise a child@ is the mandate of this ministry.  This

One Church One Child ministry informs families of our church and community of the need for African Americans to adopt African American children. Also it prepares singles and married couples that may be interested in adoption by enrolling in PRIDE adoption classes.

Scholarship Ministry

To provide financial support for those graduates that qualifies for a scholarship from our church and also to provide financial resources to those that need financial assistance for college.

Wellness Ministry

This ministry consists of members of our church that are professionals in the medical field that provide health care and information at our Family Conferences and Health Fairs.  They perform the following screenings, but not limited to, blood pressure, glucose, prostate, TB screenings, flu vaccines, etc.

Widows' Support Ministry

This ministry has been designed for those women that are 65 years old and older who are living without a spouse.  The primary function of this ministry is to aide those with low incomes by supplying tangible resources of food, clothing, and financial assistance.
